I hope you are ready for another great day of home learning. The sun is shining again today. Enjoy the sunshine!
Who will be our star of the day?
Here are your activities for today:

Maths
Today is lesson 4 on angles and shapes. Follow the link below and scroll down to 'to recognise obtuse and acute angles'. A good way to remember these is 'acute' is said in a small baby mouse voice because they are cute and OBTUSE is said in a loud monster voice because they are BIG (similar to our funny voices for m and mm).
Watch the video and complete the activities. Don't forget to complete the quiz to recap your knowledge.

Geography
Today we are going to be finding out about different animals. Follow the link below to the National Geographic website. Select an animal you would like to find out about. There are lots to choose from including tigers, pandas, sharks, penguins and leopards etc. Read through the facts and choose the 5 most interesting facts. You could draw a picture of your animal too.

Reading
Today we are going to listen to Michael Rosen's 'Chocolate Cake' poem for the last time. Our focus today is expression. Can you change your voice to sound like Michael's as you read the poem? Why do you think his expression changes throughout the poem? Think about how Michael feels at different points in the story. Make his excited, satisfied, worried and scared faces to a sibling or in a mirror.
