If you haven't already, take a look at yesterday's blog to see the brilliant work your friends have been doing.
A reminder
Tomorrow we are having another zoom quiz at 10am. Make sure you have permission, otherwise you won't be able to join in. Can I please ask that when you join the meeting, you have your name visible. This is to ensure that I can identify who is joining the meeting. For example, rather than 'iphone 8' it would say 'Tom Smith'. We look forward to seeing you all!
Who will be our star of the day?
Here are your activities for today
English
We are going to continue with our work on 'The Journey to the Jungle'. Reread the 'Jungle Log' on page 3 from yesterday. Today we are going to focus on synonyms. Remember, synonyms are words that have the same meaning. For example, tiny is a synonym for small. Complete the activity on page 5. How many different synonyms can you find?

Music
We are going to be following 'the beat goes on' to learn body percussion. Body percussion is using your body to make music, no equipment is needed. Watch the tutorial below. Olly (the teacher) will talk you through each step. I hope you enjoy your first body percussion lesson!

Reading
We are going to listen to Michael Rosen's 'Chocolate Cake' poem again. Today you are going to perform some of the poem. You could listen to Michael and then pause the video and have a go yourself. We call this 'echo reading'. Think about your expression. How can you use your voice to make a creaky sound? Which bits will you read loudly and which bits softly?

Remember to read your school book to a grown up for at least 15 minutes today.
