We are looking forward to another great day of home learning. We hope to see lots of you on our zoom quiz at 10am. Remember to get permission before you can join. Also, please ensure your name is visible when you join the call. For example, rather than 'iphone 8' it would say 'Tom Smith'. We look forward to seeing you all!

Today we are going to be writing sentences using the tricky words we looked at on Monday. Reread the 'Jungle Log' on page 3 and remind yourself of the tricky words you drew pictures of. Complete the activities on page 6, answer the questions and write your own sentences using the tricky words below.
Your words are:

Reading
For reading today we are going to listen to Michael Rosen's 'Chocolate Cake' poem again. Talk to someone you live with about the poem. Tell them what the poem is about. What is your favourite part of the poem? What treat would you write a poem about?

Can you act out part of the poem? Perhaps you could creep past your sleeping sibling to get the chocolate cake, just like Michael did.

Another day of brilliant home learning today. It was so lovely to see so many of your smiley faces on our zoom quiz earlier. Mrs Miller and I really enjoyed seeing you all and hearing all about what you have been doing at home. I am sorry it cut out abruptly at the end, the call ran out of time. Apologies I didn't say a proper goodbye. We will do the same again after half term.
Here are some photos of your fab work today.
Fidel has been working hard at home and showing his siblings how to do Joe Wick's work outs. What a brilliant role model you are!
Harley continues to be a super star! He has completed all of his tasks today and has been practising Mr Searle's 8 x table song. Have a look at Harley's fab video.
Maisie has been working hard at home and at school. She even challenged herself with some of the Year 4 work. Woah!
Merit has been working hard to understand angles and shape.
Pam has been working hard at home. It's lovely to see that cheeky, smiling face!
Good morning everyone Harley X
